Gregory Mitchell: Atlanta, GA, United States; Even though my academic studies have been predominately focused on the animation side of the industry my personal work has allowed me to touch on a lot of the other things to see the field as a whole. Taking a step back I would consider myself a motion writer. Why? Because I am ultimately just putting my thoughts down so that others can read them, except visually on screen. I describe the scenery with elaborate pictures, write the words in the acting of my animation and structure my paragraphs with my shot compositions. I want to write and help write all the ideas I can because no one can read minds but most everyone can read words.
